Manitowoc, Wisconsin Rotary Clubs
The Manitowoc Noon Rotary club has already funded an installation of a handpump on a well in Tamale, Ghana. This pump was installed at a school in July, 2006. Six people died of Cholera in December, 2005 about 300 yards from where this pump is installed. A second project is under consideration, which may be done in conjunction with the Manitowoc Morning Rotary Club and Two Rivers club. Discussions are ongoing on the form of the next project.
